Felinah’s Page

Those who have followed Guillaume’s writing over the years know that Duchess Felinah and Duke Guillaume have a unique, symbyotic relationship. Felinah (being an educated Persian lady) provides insight, wisdom, prudence, and enthusiasm; Guillaume (being a heavily-armed Norman knight) provides rattan shavings and 24-hour latté service. Thus, in response to several readers’ requests for website content based on scientific data and/or artistic excellence (as opposed to writing inspired by the voices Guillaume hears after eating too much chocolate cake) we present a variety of material from Felinah and her learned colleagues.

Felinah’s University:
Notes, glossaries and outlines of various lectures and seminars:

• Health, nutrition and aging in the Middle Ages
• Glossary: 13th century knightly terms and offices
• 13th century English tournaments

Felinah’s Poetry House:
The witty medieval verse of Felinah and select friends, researchers, bards and other troublemakers:

• Poem: The Fall of Khwarazm (by Felinah)
• Poem: Timur Malik (by Felinah)
